Welcome to the Land of Happiness! Upon your family's arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly received by your dedicated guide and chauffeur. We will begin with a highly comfortable 1.5-hour drive alongside the crystal-clear Paro and Thimphu rivers to the capital city. After checking into your family-friendly hotel, take some time to rest. Today is packed with fun and educational activities for all ages. We start by visiting the towering Buddha Dordenma. To keep the trip relaxed, we focus on easily accessible cultural sites. However, if your family is active and wishes to hike, we can easily add it to the itinerary upon request.
No. The Royal Government of Bhutan offers concessions for children. Children between 6 to 12 years of age pay a 50% concession on the SDF, and children aged 5 and under are completely exempt from the SDF.
