Day-wise Itinerary
Welcome to Chandigarh! Our representative will pick you up from the airport/railway station. We immediately begin our scenic ascent into the Himalayas, driving towards Shimla, the former summer capital of British India (approx. 4-5 hours drive). Upon reaching, check into your hotel and rest. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll on the famous Mall Road, visit The Ridge, and the neo-gothic Christ Church. Dinner and overnight stay in Shimla.
After a hearty breakfast, head out for a full-day excursion to Kufri. Famous for its Himalayan nature park and panoramic views of the snow-clad peaks, Kufri offers various activities like horse riding and yak riding. On the way back, stop at the mesmerizing Green Valley and the Jakhoo Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, featuring a massive 108-feet idol. Return to your hotel in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Shimla.
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on a beautiful 7-8 hour drive to Manali. The route is highly picturesque, passing by the tranquil Pandoh Dam, Sundernagar Lake, and the vast apple orchards of the Kullu Valley. You can also visit the famous Kullu Shawl factories. Arrive in Manali by evening, check into your hotel, and relax after the long journey. Dinner and overnight stay in Manali.
Today is dedicated to adventure and high altitudes. After breakfast, drive to the spectacular Solang Valley. Here, you can indulge in optional adventure activities like paragliding, zorbing, and skiing (in winter). Depending on accessibility and weather conditions, we will also take a drive through the engineering marvel, the Atal Tunnel, to witness the dramatic change in landscapes into the Lahaul Valley. Return to Manali for dinner and overnight stay.
After a relaxed breakfast, explore the local gems of Manali. Visit the ancient Hadimba Devi Temple, beautifully surrounded by towering Deodar trees. Proceed to the Vashisht Village to see the natural hot water springs and the Vashisht Temple. Later, explore the vibrant lanes of Old Manali, famous for its rustic cafes, live music, and unique handicrafts. Spend your evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Manali.
Check out early from your hotel and drive towards Dharamshala (approx. 7 hours). The journey takes you through the lush green tea gardens of Palampur with the mighty Dhauladhar range constantly accompanying you. Upon arrival in Dharamshala/McLeod Ganj, check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the Tsuglagkhang Complex (Dalai Lama Temple) and absorb the deep spiritual and Tibetan cultural vibes. Dinner and overnight stay in Dharamshala.
After breakfast, visit the beautiful St. John in the Wilderness Church and the Bhagsu Waterfall. On your final day, after breakfast, we drive to Khajjiar (approx. 1 hour). By afternoon, we begin our drive to the Pathankot Railway Station or Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey, marking the end of your magnificent himachal trip.
