Welcome! Our representative will greet you at the Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station or Shimla. We immediately begin our ascent into the mountains, bypassing the crowded lower hills to reach the serene, apple-orchard town of Narkanda (approx. 5-6 hours from Chandigarh, 2 hours from Shimla). Upon arrival, check into your hotel. You can take a short walk to explore the local area. Dinner and overnight stay in Narkanda.
After breakfast, you can opt for a quick visit to Hatu Peak (weather permitting) for stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges. Later, check out and drive towards Sarahan, a beautiful village known as the gateway to Kinnaur. The drive takes you along the Sutlej River. Upon reaching Sarahan, check into your hotel. Visit the famous Bhimakali Temple, renowned for its unique wooden architecture. Dinner and overnight stay in Sarahan.
After breakfast, embark on an adventurous drive to Sangla. This route on the Hindustan-Tibet Highway is famous for its "cliffhanger" sections, notably the Taranda Dhak, where the road is carved into sheer rock faces. Today, we drive to Chitkul (approx. 24 km from Sangla), famously known as the last inhabited village on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route. The drive is exceptionally beautiful, with snow-capped mountains and pine forests. Spend time interacting with the locals, exploring the wooden houses, and walking down to the river banks. In the afternoon, return to Sangla and explore the ancient Kamru Fort. Dinner and overnight stay in Sangla.

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Kalpa via Reckong Peo (the district headquarters of Kinnaur). After a final breakfast in the hills, check out from your hotel. Our driver will transfer you to the Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station (approx. 3.5 - 4 hours drive) for your onward journey back home, concluding your spectacular Kinnaur Valley adventure.
