Welcome to your mini himachal break! Our representative will greet you at the Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station. You will immediately depart for Shimla, enjoying a scenic 4 to 5-hour drive through the Shivalik hills. Upon reaching Shimla, the "Queen of Hills," check into your hotel and freshen up. Spend your evening exploring the famous Mall Road, The Ridge, and the neo-gothic Christ Church. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Shimla.
After a delicious breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Kufri. En route, pass through the dense and mesmerizing pine forests of the Green Valley. At Kufri, enjoy the Himalayan Nature Park, and optionally take a horse or yak ride to Mahasu Peak for panoramic views of the Himalayas. Return to Shimla by afternoon and visit the Jakhoo Temple, situated on the highest peak of the town. Evening is free for leisure and shopping. Dinner and overnight stay in Shimla.
Post breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day exploring the historical and architectural beauty of Shimla. Visit the Viceregal Lodge (Indian Institute of Advanced Study), an architectural marvel from the British era. Take a stroll through the serene Annandale area and visit the Army Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, you can relax at a cozy cafe or explore the local markets like Lakkar Bazaar for wooden souvenirs. Head back to your hotel for a warm dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Bid farewell to the beautiful mountains as we begin our descent back to the plains. If you are traveling between late December and February, there is a very high chance of seeing snow in Kufri. During the summer and monsoon months, Kufri offers beautiful green, lush landscapes instead.
No, vehicles are completely restricted on Mall Road and The Ridge. Our driver will drop you at the designated tourist drop-off point (like the lift area), from where you can easily walk to the main attractions.
We do not recommend adding Manali to a 4-day trip from Chandigarh. The drive from Shimla to Manali alone takes 7-8 hours, which would leave you with almost no time for sightseeing. For Manali, we suggest at least a 6-day itinerary.
