Carefully designed by local Kerala travel experts, this comprehensive itinerary covers the majestic hill stations, dense wildlife sanctuaries, world-renowned backwaters, and pristine beaches in a single, perfectly paced journey.

Your tropical getaway begins upon arrival in Cochin (Kochi), from where you will take a scenic drive up the winding Western Ghats to reach Munnar. Covered in endless carpets of lush tea plantations and misty mountains, Munnar offers a refreshing two-day retreat. From the cool hills, you will descend towards Thekkady, home to the Periyar National Park. Here, you can experience a unique boat safari to spot wild elephants and explore aromatic spice plantations.

The magic continues as you arrive in Alleppey (Alappuzha) to step aboard a traditional Kettuvallam (Houseboat) for an exclusive overnight cruise through the tranquil, palm-fringed backwaters. The final leg of your journey takes you to the internationally acclaimed beach destination of Kovalam. Spend two days relaxing by the Arabian Sea, exploring the iconic lighthouse, and visiting the majestic Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Trivandrum before your departure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ending the tour in Trivandrum (TRV) is the most efficient routing. If you were to depart from Cochin after visiting Kovalam, you would have to endure an exhausting 6 to 7-hour drive back North. Flying out of Trivandrum saves a full day of travel.

In standard and deluxe category houseboats, the Air Conditioning in the bedrooms operates only during the night (typically from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM) while the boat is docked to conserve power. If you require full-time AC, please request an upgrade to a Premium/Luxury houseboat.

Boating tickets at Periyar Lake are issued by the Kerala Forest Department and are subject to strict availability. It is highly recommended to book them online well in advance via the official KTDC website to avoid long physical queues.

Yes! The meals prepared on the houseboat feature delicious, traditional Kerala cuisine. If you have specific dietary requirements (e.g., pure vegetarian, Jain food, or no seafood), please inform us at the time of booking so the onboard chef can arrange it accordingly.
