Your journey begins in the lush green valleys of Manali, transitioning rapidly as you cross the engineering marvel, Atal Tunnel, into the stark beauty of Lahaul Valley. As you ride your Royal Enfield towards Jispa and Sarchu, you will navigate challenging terrains, water crossings, and the famous 21 hairpin bends of the Gata Loops. Every throttle twist brings a new panoramic landscape.
Upon reaching Leh, you will take a well-deserved rest to acclimatize before pushing the limits again. The expedition then takes you to the mighty Khardung La Pass (one of the world's highest motorable roads) down into the white desert of Nubra Valley. From there, you'll ride off-road along the Shyok River to witness the majestic, color-changing waters of Pangong Lake before completing the circuit back to Leh.

10-Day Ride Itinerary
Arrive in Manali (usually via overnight Volvo bus from Delhi/Chandigarh). Check into your hotel and take the morning to rest and acclimatize to the mountain air. Post lunch, meet your Road Captain and the rest of the riding crew.
Key Activities:
- Briefing Session: Detailed briefing on riding rules, high-altitude terrain, and safety protocols.
- Bike Allocation: Get introduced to your Royal Enfield.
- Test Ride: A short local ride to get accustomed to the bike's handling in hilly terrain. Check brakes, clutch, and gear shifts.
Return to the hotel for a group dinner and a good night's sleep before the big ride. Overnight stay in Manali.
Kickstart your engines early! Today marks the official beginning of the epic Manali-Leh ride. Leaving the lush forests of Kullu valley behind, we enter the rugged Lahaul Valley.
Route Highlights & Monuments:
- Atal Tunnel: Ride through the 9.02 km long engineering marvel, the longest highway single-tube tunnel above 10,000 ft.
- Sissu Waterfall: Stop for a quick photo op by the majestic waterfall emerging from the glacier.
- Keylong & Jispa: Ride through small Himalayan hamlets to reach the beautiful Bhaga River banks in Jispa.

Though the distance is short, the terrain becomes significantly challenging today. You will ascend to serious altitudes and encounter icy water crossings. Caution and steady riding are key.

- Deepak Taal & Suraj Taal: Two stunning, high-altitude emerald lakes along the highway.
- Baralacha La (16,040 ft): Conquer your first major high-altitude pass. The winds are cold, and the views are breathtaking.
- Zingzing Bar: Navigate tricky water crossings where teamwork and road captain guidance are crucial.
Arrive at Sarchu, the border line between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. Sarchu is known for heavy winds and cold nights. Acclimatize carefully. Overnight stay in Sarchu camps.
The longest, toughest, and most visually spectacular day of riding. Today separates the men/women from the boys/girls. Start early as you have a long distance and three high passes to cover before sunset.

- Gata Loops: Ascend the famous 21 hairpin bends that rapidly gain altitude.
- Nakee La (15,547 ft) & Lachulung La (16,616 ft): Twin passes featuring rugged, moon-like landscapes.
- More Plains: A surreal 40 km stretch of flat, smooth tarmac at 15,400 ft where you can comfortably open the throttle.
- Tanglang La (17,480 ft): The second-highest motorable pass on this highway. The descent takes you into the Indus Valley.
Arrive in Leh by late evening, exhausted but triumphant. Check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Leh.
After 4 intense days of riding, both you and your machines need rest. Use the morning to sleep in. The mechanics will perform necessary check-ups and maintenance on the bikes.

Today you ride to what was long considered the highest motorable road in the world. The ascent requires focus as tarmac turns to dirt and slush near the top.

You must have a valid Indian Motor Cycle Driving License (with gear). International riders need an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with their valid home country license.
Yes, pillion riders are welcome! However, riding double in the Himalayas can be exhausting for both. Ensure your pillion is physically fit and comfortable riding long distances. Alternatively, pillions can opt to travel in the backup vehicle during tough stretches.
Our dedicated mechanic travels in the backup vehicle with essential spare parts. Minor breakdowns will be fixed on the spot. If a major issue occurs, we will provide a spare bike (subject to availability) or you can ride in the backup vehicle until the bike is repaired.
Our route is designed for gradual acclimatization. However, if symptoms persist, our Road Captains are trained to handle AMS. The backup vehicle carries emergency oxygen. If severe, you will be transported to the nearest army medical camp or hospital immediately.
