Since you are arriving at an altitude of over 11,500 feet, it is strictly advised to spend the major part of the day resting indoors to let everyone's body acclimatize safely.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, Ladakh is safe for children (ideally above 5-6 years of age) provided proper acclimatization is followed. It is crucial to rest entirely on Day 1, keep kids hydrated, and avoid running/exertion. We always carry emergency oxygen in our vehicles for the high passes to ensure your family's safety.
Leh is situated at 11,500 ft. Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) is common. Drink plenty of water (stay hydrated) and avoid alcohol/smoking. Consult your pediatrician regarding medication for children before travel.
Only POSTPAID connections (mainly Jio, Airtel, and BSNL) work in the Ladakh region. Prepaid connections from outside J&K/Ladakh will not work. In remote areas like Pangong and Nubra, connectivity will be extremely poor or zero. Consider it a true family digital detox!
