Tour Overview
Embark on one of the most thrilling and picturesque road trips on the planet with our 06 Nights / 07 Days Manali to Leh Overland Tour Package. Designed for true adventure seekers, this linear journey transitions from the lush green alpine forests of Himachal Pradesh into the stark, high-altitude cold deserts of Ladakh.
Your epic journey begins in the beautiful town of Manali. The real adventure kicks off on Day 2 as you cross the engineering marvel, the Atal Tunnel, entering the Lahaul Valley. To ensure a safe and steady acclimatization process, we halt at the picturesque village of Jispa for a night, rather than rushing straight to high-altitude camps. The next day, you will conquer some of the highest mountain passes in the world, including Baralacha La, Nakee La, and Taglang La, before finally descending into Leh.
Once in Ladakh, the expedition continues to the iconic Nubra Valley via the legendary Khardung La Pass. Experience the unique double-humped camel rides in the Hunder sand dunes. Following the rugged Shyok river route, you will arrive at the mesmerizing, color-changing waters of Pangong Lake. The tour concludes with a drive back to Leh over the Chang La pass, leaving you with memories of the ultimate Himalayan road trip.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Manali-Leh highway gains altitude rapidly. To counter Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), we specifically halt at Jispa (10,500 ft) for a night instead of directly crossing the higher passes. Drink plenty of water (stay hydrated) and avoid alcohol. Consult your doctor regarding Diamox before travel. We always carry emergency oxygen in our vehicles.
The Manali-Leh highway is only open for a few months a year. The best time to complete this road trip is from mid-June to September when the snow is cleared from the Baralacha La pass and the weather is relatively pleasant.
Between Jispa and Leh (approx. 10 hours), there is absolutely zero mobile network coverage. Once in Ladakh, only POSTPAID connections (mainly Jio, Airtel, and BSNL) will work. Prepaid connections from outside J&K/Ladakh will not work. Consider it a true digital detox!
No. Inner Line Permits (ILP) are required to visit restricted areas like Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake in Ladakh. We proactively process and acquire these permits for you prior to your arrival. All you need to do is provide your valid ID proofs during the booking process.
