Tour Overview
Venture off the beaten path and into one of the most isolated, rugged, and profoundly beautiful regions on Earth with our 09 Nights / 10 Days Zanskar Valley Tour Package. Designed exclusively for hardcore adventure enthusiasts and seasoned travelers, this expedition takes you deep into the heart of the Trans-Himalayas, far away from the commercial tourist crowds of Leh.
Your journey begins with crucial acclimatization in Leh. Once your body has adjusted to the 11,500 ft altitude, you will embark on the magnificent drive to Kargil via the moon-like landscapes of Lamayuru. The real adventure unfolds as you leave Kargil and enter the incredibly lush Suru Valley, driving past the towering, snow-capped twin peaks of Nun and Kun.
Crossing the treacherous Pensi La pass, you will witness the massive, winding Drang Drung Glacier before descending into Padum, the administrative center of Zanskar. Over three days in Zanskar, you will explore ancient Tibetan-Buddhist monasteries clinging impossibly to cliff faces, such as Karsha and Phuktal, and visit the historic Zangla Fort. The tour safely brings you back to Leh via Kargil, culminating with a thrilling day excursion to the mighty Khardung La Pass.
