Tour Overview
Disconnect from the urban chaos and reconnect with nature on our immersive 07 Nights / 08 Days MP Forest Trails Tour Package. Carefully curated for hardcore wildlife enthusiasts, bird watchers, and nature photographers, this extended itinerary takes you deep into the heart of India's most pristine and predator-rich jungles.
Your wilderness expedition begins in Jabalpur, transferring you straight into the legendary tiger territory of Bandhavgarh National Park. Known globally for its incredibly high density of Royal Bengal Tigers, you will explore its rugged, hilly terrains and ancient fort ruins on thrilling open-jeep safaris. Moving south, we enter the majestic Kanha National Park. With an extended 3-night stay, you will not only track big cats across its sweeping meadows (maidans) but also embark on guided nature trails and visit local Baiga tribal villages to understand the delicate ecosystem of the forest.
The final leg of your journey brings you to the enchanting teak forests of Pench National Park, the very landscape that inspired Rudyard Kipling's timeless classic, The Jungle Book. Famous for its thriving leopard population and wild dog packs, Pench offers a fitting, dramatic conclusion to your madhya-pradesh wildlife trail before you depart from Nagpur.

Day-wise Itinerary
Welcome to the Tiger State! Upon your arrival at Jabalpur Airport or Railway Station, our representative will warmly greet you. We immediately embark on a scenic drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (approx. 165 km / 3.5 hrs). Steeped in history and boasting an incredibly high density of Royal Bengal Tigers, Bandhavgarh is a wildlife photographer's dream. Check into your eco-lodge. Spend the evening resting by a bonfire and preparing your cameras for the days ahead. Dinner and overnight stay in Bandhavgarh.
Rise before dawn for an exhilarating Morning Open-Jeep Safari into the core zones (Tala, Magdhi, or Khitauli). With the help of an expert naturalist, track the pugmarks and alarm calls to spot the elusive tiger. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and some rest during the heat of the day. Post lunch, head back into the jungle for an Afternoon Safari, offering a different lighting perspective of the forest. Dinner and overnight stay in Bandhavgarh.

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and embark on a scenic drive through rural madhya-pradesh to Kanha National Park (approx. 215 km / 5 hrs). Kanha is the largest national park in Central India, famous for its sprawling meadows (maidans) and dense Sal forests. Upon arrival, check into your wilderness resort. The evening is at leisure; you may enjoy a nature documentary screening often hosted at premium lodges. Dinner and overnight stay in Kanha.
Prepare for a full day of tracking in Kanha! Enjoy a Morning Safari into the deep core zones (Kanha, Mukki, Kisli, or Sarhi). Keep a sharp eye out for tigers stealthily moving through the tall elephant grass. Return for lunch, followed by another exciting Afternoon Jeep Safari. Dinner and overnight stay in Kanha.
Take a break from the bumpy jeep rides today. After a relaxed breakfast, step out for a Guided Nature Walk in the buffer zones of the park. Accompanied by a trained naturalist, learn to identify bird calls, medicinal plants, and insect life that often go unnoticed during jeep safaris. In the afternoon, visit a local Baiga Tribal Village to understand their harmonious coexistence with the forest and witness their vibrant culture. Dinner and overnight stay in Kanha.
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Pench National Park (approx. 190 km / 4.5 hrs). This beautiful forest of Teak and Palash trees is famous as the original setting for Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book". Upon arrival, check into your wilderness resort. In the late afternoon, embark on an Evening Jeep Safari in the Pench core zone. The park is renowned for excellent leopard sightings and packs of Indian Wild Dogs (Dhole). Dinner and overnight stay in Pench.

Frequently Asked Questions
Core zone safari permits in Kanha, Bandhavgarh, and Pench are strictly limited and open 120 days in advance. To secure premium zones (like Kanha/Mukki or Tala), we strongly recommend booking this package 90 to 120 days before your travel date.
While safaris operate from October to June, the absolute best time for tiger sightings is during the warmer months (March to May) as big cats frequently visit waterholes. Winters (Nov-Feb) offer lush green landscapes, misty mornings, and excellent birding.
Yes, safaris are completely safe and conducted by highly trained drivers and guides. However, open jeeps on forest tracks can be bumpy. If you are traveling with very young children (under 5) or guests with severe back issues, please inform us so we can arrange additional cushions.
Always pack earthy, muted colors (khaki, olive green, brown) to blend in with the forest. Avoid bright colors and perfumes. In winters (Nov-Feb), early morning open-jeep rides are extremely cold, so heavy wind-cheaters, gloves, and beanies are essential.
