Day-wise Itinerary
Welcome to madhya-pradesh! Upon arrival at Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport or Railway Station in Indore, our representative will greet you. We will immediately proceed for a short drive to the holy city of Ujjain (approx. 55 km / 1.5 hrs). Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and rest. In the evening, visit the magnificent Mahakaleshwar Temple for your first Jyotirlinga Darshan. Explore the newly built Mahakal Lok Corridor. Overnight stay in Ujjain.
If pre-booked, wake up early (approx. 3:00 AM) to attend the world-famous Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Temple. After breakfast, embark on a comprehensive spiritual tour of Ujjain. We will visit the revered Kal Bhairav Temple, where liquor is offered as prasad. Later, seek blessings at the Harsiddhi Mata Temple (one of the 51 Shaktipeeths), Mangalnath Temple (birthplace of Mars), and Sandipani Ashram, where Lord Krishna received his education. Overnight stay in Ujjain.

Proceed for darshan at the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga and the Mamleshwar Temple located on the opposite bank. You can also enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the Narmada River. Attend the evening Aarti. Following breakfast, begin a short drive to the temple town of Maheshwar (approx. 65 km / 2 hrs). Maheshwar was the glorious capital of Queen Ahilyabai Holkar. Visit the magnificent Ahilya Fort, which houses exquisite temples overlooking the sweeping Narmada River. Spend the afternoon exploring the local weavers making world-famous Maheshwari sarees. Conclude your day by participating in the deeply moving Narmada Aarti at the Ahilya Ghat. Overnight stay in Maheshwar.
After breakfast, check out from Maheshwar and drive to the ancient fort city of Mandu (approx. 40 km / 1 hr). Often referred to as the 'City of Joy', Mandu is renowned for its Afghan architecture and the legendary romance of Baz Bahadur and Rani Roopmati. Explore the magnificent Jahaz Mahal (Ship Palace), Hindola Mahal, Hoshang Shah's Tomb (India's first marble structure), and the Rani Roopmati Pavilion offering panoramic views of the Nimar plains. Overnight stay in Mandu.
After breakfast, drive from Mandu back to Indore (approx. 95 km / 2.5 hrs). Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. We will then proceed for local sightseeing, visiting the highly revered Khajrana Ganesh Temple, Annapurna Temple, and the regal Rajwada Palace, a symbol of the Holkar dynasty. End the day by savoring local culinary delights at the famous Chappan Dukan or Sarafa Bazaar. Overnight stay in Indore.
