The best time is between October to June. The weather is pleasant in summers (perfect escape from city heat) and crisp in winters. We generally avoid the heavy monsoon months (July to August) for safety reasons in hilly terrain.
As per standard hill transport regulations, the AC is turned off while driving uphill to maintain engine power and safety. The climate is naturally cool in places like Mussoorie and Nainital. AC will be fully operational in the plains (Delhi to Haridwar, Corbett area).
